We’re open for new and existing patients!
We kindly ask all patients to please wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
We hope you and your family are in good health. Our New Carlisle and Dayton community has been through a lot over the last year. We’re all looking forward to going back to our normal routines and life. We remain committed to your safety and dental health.
How are we keeping you safe?
We’ve designed our protocols to make sure your experience at our office is extremely safe and comfortable.
Scheduling an Appointment:
We keep our offices extremely clean. In addition to our sterilization procedures, we’re also implementing new protocols out of an abundance of caution.
- Diligent Communication
We will confirm all appointments in our office and focus on contactless forms of communication including digital, email, text and patient forms.
- Social Distancing and Sterilization
We are scheduling appointments to allow for sterilization and greater social distancing between patients. You might be offered fewer options for dates and times, but know that we are keeping you safe.
- Patient Screening Questions
- Have you exhibited any signs of an acute respiratory illness such as fever, coughing or shortness of breath?
- Have you recently traveled to China, Iran, Europe, United Kingdom, Ireland or South Korea or been on a cruise? (Locations currently given a Level 3 Travel Health Notice for COVID-19)
- If 2 weeks have passed since your return of one of the identified regions and no symptoms have presented, you may proceed with your dental visit.
- Have you had any close contact with any individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19?
Upon Arriving for Your Appointment:
All of us—your dentist, team members, and patients—will all follow the same safety protocol.
- “Virtual” Waiting Room
When you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your car. Call or text us so that a temam member can let you know when to enter our office building.
- Family or Friends—Please Stay Home
At this time, dental regulations only allow patients in clinical areas during appointments. Medically necessary caretakers, translators or parents of young children are the exception.
- We Will All Wear PPE
All your team members will wear additional personal protective equipment including goggles, face shields and gowns. While this may come across as less compassionate in our interactions, please know that we are doing this for all our safety. We care about keeping you healthy!
- Hand Sanitizer
Please use hand sanitizer when you enter the office. There will be dispensers in the reception area and other rooms as needed.
- Patient Screening Questions (Again)
If you think you’ve been exposed to the coronavirus, please reschedule for a date after your 14-day self-quarantine.
- Mouth Rinse
We’re requiring all team members and patients to rise with chlorhexidine or peroxide for 30 seconds before exams, cleanings or other dental treatments. Coronavirus is susceptible to oxidative damage via H2O2. The aim for this rinse is to reduce viral loads in the oral cavity substantially.
- Temperature Checks
We will take your temperature when you arrive. If you have an elevated temperature, you will be directed to contact your primary health care doctor, per the recommendation from the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health. We will reschedule your appointment.
If you have any questions about our safety protocols, please contact our office. We value your trust and loyalty and hope to see you again soon. Thank you for being our patient!
Once again, this is out of an abundance of caution to you, our team members, and our community in Ohio.
